The oceans crest into lonely sands of stillness keeping the course I tried to make Living in these cubes of time and space the turning tides will make us drift away A final plea of where we used to be there’s no coming back if we can’t see the truth may never know where we used to be Dripping water on your sunlit face The rain asks will you forgive me? The sun stains my eyes blinking and hiding don’t wanna know If it comes back there’s no place to go The turning tides will never know

about

Phenotract's newest EP, "Tides" is the follow up to 2016's full length LP "It's All We Feel Every Day'. Where that album was a mix of cinematic ambience, electronic pop, and downtempo workouts, this EP has the project going back to the 80s/90s music that originally inspired it. Using modern production techniques and rhythms, the sound of this EP is more retro-futuristic feeling than ever before. From the ethereal melodies of "Turning Tides" to the uplifting "One Last Time", "Tides" makes another leap for the now 20 year old project.
